JKJ Real Estate and Auction Company has been in business since 1968. Alvin Johnson and Lewis King started the auction company as Johnson & King and built the office building at 1301 E. WIllow in 1971. In 1982, Keith James joined the team as an auctioneer and later became a partner, at which time the name was changed to Johnson-King-James. Upon the retirement of Mr. King and Mr. Johnson, Mr. James purchased the auction business and the name became, and is still known as,
JKJ REAL ESTATE AND AUCTION COMPANY.
